Keylor Navas
A goalkeeper who needs no introduction, being one of the most successful in the history of the game.
Born in Perez Zeldeon, Costa Rica, Keylor began his career at Deportivo Saprissa, making his debut in 2005 aged just nineteen, he totalled sixty appearances, winning the Primera Division and the CONCACAF Cup before he joined Spanish outfit Albacete five years later.
Having made thirty-six appearances for Albacete, Keylor initially joined Levante on loan before making the move permanent.
His performances at the Ciutat de Valencia soon caught the eye of the game’s leading names and following a string of fantastic appearances at the World Cup in Brazil during the summer of 2014, Real Madrid became his chosen destination.
During his five year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, Keylor won an incredible three UEFA Champions League winners medals consecutively, as well as UEFA Super Cup three times, the FIFA World Club Championships four times, the LaLiga title and the Supercopa de Espana in 2017.
In 2019, the Costa Rican stopper joined Paris Saint-Germain winning the Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue, Trophee de Champions and finishing with a UEFA Champions League runners-up medal in an incredible first season.
On a personal level has a huge haul of awards including being voted UEFA Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season for the 2017-18 season.
Keylor joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the second half of the 2022-23 campaign and helped Steve Cooper’s side secure Premier League survival at the first time of asking.
The Costa Rican returned to PSG in the summer to battle it out under Luis Enrique alongside Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Keylor continues to excel at the highest level of the game and many more accolades are sure to be added to what has been an incredible career.
